Pond Life

I've been distracting myself for the past couple of months with iphoneography. Looking forward to more freedom in moving about the country soon to put my newly acquired skills to work. Meanwhile, I found this sweet little duckling leaping up in the air trying to catch bugs and practicing his water takeoffs in my backyard pond.

    1. Hey there, Al. 2020 was a lost year for me but I’ve been painting recently. I’m doing a one-year mentorship with Andy Evansen and beginning to get my mojo back. Not doing any blogging. How about you?

  2. I have a painting on the easel, but haven't touched it in a while. Just poking around with the blog, see if I get inspired, or something.
    Good luck with your mentorship.

Oh, is your work anywhere else online?

    1. Oh, I’d like to see your blog. What’s the address?
Nope, no work elsewhere. I’ll probably set up a second Instagram account one of these days. My current one is just for family, thus pretty goofy.
      Go paint!

I have nothing new at the moment, but I've been scanning old sketchbooks, putting some of that up.

I've never looked at Instagram. Doesn't Facebook own that? I think I've read people saying it's better for art ...(?)
