I began the Virtual Paintout month in Lido a little discouraged, thinking I would not find anything interesting enough to paint there. It's pretty touristy, which is unappealing to me. But it forced me to look a little harder and I found subject matter away from the towns. On the same country lane where I found my fruit picker, below, I discovered a long row of morning glories on a wire fence. I should have remembered, paradise is everywhere!
Hello There,
ReplyDeleteI am your newest follower. I just stumbled upon your blog. Your paintings are beautiful. I especially love "Nice Catch". Love how delicate " Morning Glories" is, too. If you would like to stop by my blog to say hello and follow me back that would be wonderful.
Have a great weekend.
Joan
Oh these are just beautiful! I love morning glories!
ReplyDeleteOh how lovely this is, I gave up on VP as I couldn't find anything floral, wish I had found this vine
ReplyDeleteWelcome, Joan, and my sincere thanks to you, Crimson Leaves, and Lorraine. Although far from perfect, I felt like I turned a corner with this one. Time will tell! I so appreciate your kind words.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is an outstanding work, like most of others done by you. Thank you so much for sharing. The blue is just so lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much! I enjoyed painting these so much that I bought some seeds and planted them. I can hardly wait for them to flower!
