Hong Kong Traffic

It's been tricky trying to find my way back to painting after a long absence. I've tried water soluble oils, acrylics and watercolors, and all have been a struggle. This painting of a Hong Kong street scene, for the Virtual Painters July challenge, was done in fluid acrylics and was an exciting process. I'm looking forward to more experimentation with this medium.

  1. Love this painting. Looks like the world is pretty busy out there.

  2. Rich color, good depth of values, and great drawing. And it looks like it was easy. The fluid acrylics seem to agree with you.

  3. This one is my favorite in the virtual paintout this month. Nice, jewel-like colors. For some reason, it reminds me of really good hand-drawn animated movies. Great work!
